Phurba Tshering
Founder & CEO
Born and raised in the remote eastern region of Bhutan, Phurba graduated from India with a Bachelor of Commerce, specializing in Finance. After completing his studies, he worked in the finance department of a Bhutanese travel agency for nearly four years. Working within the tourism industry ignited his passion to become a tour leader. He now has over 10 years of experience as a certified cultural and trekking guide. Driven by more than a decade of expertise in the tourism sector, he founded The Himalayan Unique Travels.
Nima Lhaden
Head Operation
Nima Lhaden holds a Bachelor’s degree in Operations from a recognized institution in India. As a highly dedicated and detail-oriented professional, she manages critical travel logistics supervising reservations and ensuring the accurate processing of travel documents. She is known for her proactive approach, taking personal responsibility to resolve even the smallest issues to guarantee seamless operations.

With specialized training in reservation management, Tshering oversees our booking process to ensure every client’s needs are met with precision. Her extensive experience in the tourism sector guarantees a seamless and efficient experience. Furthermore, her warm, friendly disposition and fluent English communication make her the perfect first point of contact for our international guests.
Yeshi Tsheltrim

Mr. Yeshi Tsheltrim is from Tashigang, eastern Bhutan. He is a seasoned guide with many years of experience leading travelers across Bhutan. He possesses deep knowledge of Buddhism and Bhutanese culture, alongside a keen understanding of current events. Naturally friendly, patient, and approachable, Yeshi has a warm guiding style that puts guests completely at ease. He is highly proficient in English, making complex spiritual and cultural topics both clear and captivating for everyone

Born and raised in the rugged landscapes of Chukha, Western Bhutan, Ugyen Jamtsho has always had a deep appreciation for the natural world. After completing his education, he began his career leading cultural and trekking expeditions. He has also completed birding training. Now, he has the expertise to help visitors spot Bhutan’s diverse and elusive bird species.
